In 2022, the "Country Water Partnership" scientific ecological NGO conducted “Project for Improving Sanitary Conditions at Public School in Mets Parni village" within the framework of Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Armenia. Within the framework of the project, the preschool and school toilets were reconstructed, as well as a compact wastewater treatment plant was built, which enables the school's wastewater to be treated before being returned to Nature. Afterwards on September 7-th of the same year the awareness raising event at the school of Mets Parni was conducted. During the event, schoolchildren were introduced to the importance of sanitation and hygiene in educational institutions and the rules of maintenance. At the end of the event, hygiene rules signs were pinned on the walls of the reconstructed toilets. On October 21, tree planting was carried out on the school yard. Pupils and teachers, as well as members of the CWP NGO, took part in the tree planting. In the schoolyard, 50 ash trees and maples were planted, which were supplied by the "Sevan National Park" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
